BRIO makes it easy for you to import and edit your own textures
While BRIO offers a library of built-in, photo-real materials; you may also want to import your own textures for more custom results.
To upload textures:
To begin, create your scene and upload the 3D objects on which the textures will be applied.
Scale, add colors, and animate your objects before applying textures. This will make the 3D visualization process simpler when you apply your texture.
When you've configured your scene, select the object that you would like to apply a texture to from the 'Objects' tab in the left panel
Go to the 'Materials' tab in the right panel and scroll down to find the upload buttons next to each shading channel. When you click on the upload button, you will be able to select your texture from your file browser. Note that BRIO recognizes texture files in the following formats: .JPG, .PNG, .MP4 or .WEBM,
PBR textures and HDRI lighting in BRIO will allow you to use your textures to simulate almost every type of physical shading effect.
Note: While you can apply textures to as many objects as you'd like in BRIO, you may need to minimize them for the best AR and VR performance. Check out our article on optimizing your scene for suggestions.
