You can upload images, video, and audio as part of your interactive BRIO presentation
Before you upload, make sure your file is in a supported format. .PNG, .JPEG, or .MP4 are recommended.
Uploading 2D assets to BRIO
In BRIO, images, videos, and pdf files can be treated as either planes or spheres. You can decide how your assets are treated. This option gives you greater flexibility and control over how you use and manipulate images.
Because of this flexibility, there are a variety of ways you can import your Images into BRIO scenes.
Presenting Videos, Photos, & PDFs
You can decide file type when uploading multimedia files.
Photos can be uploaded either Panoramic or plain photo.
Video can be uploaded 360 Video or Plain video.
A PDF can be uploaded Presentation or plain.
Note: When uploading an image for AR, ensure that double-sided is turned on.
With the image selected in the builder, you will find this setting in the right-hand menu, under the Material tab.
Upload via the My Uploads menu
Upload your files by dragging and dropping them onto the canvas, or under My Uploads. Check our article about Uploading Files into BRIO scenes for detailed instructions.
Uploading Audio Files
In BRIO, audio is part of the Behaviours system. You can apply an Audio behaviour to any object in the scene by choosing a trigger event and uploading an audio file to play when the trigger occurs.
Add Audio Behaviour
- Select the object that you want to assign an audio behaviour.
- Open the behaviours tab (located on the left-hand side of the studio).
- Select a trigger. This is the interaction that will cause the audio to start playing.
If you want the audio to start playing as soon as the scene is loaded, select "On Load" from the trigger list. If this is the case, it does not matter which object you select. - Select "Audio" from the behaviours list.
- Click Upload > and select the audio file from your computer.
- Set a transition. Choose "Loop" if you want the sound to repeat continuously, "Trigger" if you want to enable users to play it again, and "Stop" if you want it to play through only once.
Stop Audio Behaviour
If you want to let viewers stop the audio once it starts playing, you can add a "Stop" behaviour.
When triggered, this will stop all active behaviours on the object. To add a stop behaviour, select the object, add a new trigger, and select "Stop" from the behaviours list.
For more information about behaviours, check our article about How to add behaviours here.
Note: Browsers will prevent autoplay of videos with audio. If you upload a video with audio, you need to disable autoplay under output > player interface options.
