The main camera captures your scene as it will be viewed when published. You can adjust its zoom and rotation limits in the camera settings panel.
Camera Preview
The window in the bottom right corner shows your camera view, and lets you preview top, side, and front camera views. If you want to sync the main camera’s position with your current free camera view, click “sync camera”. It will remain fixed in that position until you unlink. The Camera Preview also has options for Orthographic projection modes. The window itself can be resized by click-drag the top left corner of the window.
Orbit
By default, the camera orbits around a central point, indicated by the orbit flag. The Orbit path is indicated by the dashed purple circle and is adjusted when the camera is moved.
Orbit Flag
Represents the target of focus for your camera. You can adjust this and preview the resulting framing in the Main Camera Preview window.
Camera Settings
Clipping Distance
This setting refers to the distance from the camera lens in which objects are visible. Objects that are too close or too far from the viewer according to clipping distance settings will not be visible.
Camera Limits
The main camera’s zoom and rotation limits can be set by toggling on “Camera Limits” in the camera settings panel and adjusting the sliders. The free zoom/rotation checkboxes allow users to set certain camera limits while keeping some free movement as desired.
Camera Behaviour Waypoints
Camera behaviours Waypoints allow you to control your camera’s path to highlight desired product angles or objects. Click “Add Waypoint” and drop a pin on the area you want to highlight. You may edit the transitions between waypoints, adjust the speed, and choose between a smooth or angled camera path. Note: The camera will follow this path automatically upon load. The trigger for camera behaviours cannot be changed. Enter preview mode to view your camera behaviours in action.
Enable WSAD
Enabling allows the builder and viewer to navigate in their scene using WSAD controls (W to go forwards, S to go back, A to go left, D to go right. E is to dolly up, Q to go down)
