Choose from hundreds of high quality materials in the BRIO library to add to your 3D, AR, or VR scene.
Materials can be applied to 3D objects to change the appearance of a surface.
Materials consist of a set of images (called "maps") and other attributes that are layered onto 3D surfaces to create the look of a real-life material. Characteristics such as colour, roughness, reflectiveness, and opacity are combined to create a realistic-looking material.
Using the Materials Library
The BRIO library contains hundreds of quality materials that are ready to use in your 3D scene. You can also save custom materials to your own library.
You can access BRIO materials in the Libraries panel.
Select "Open BRIO Materials" to view the full materials library. This is also where you will find your saved materials.
Use the dropdown menu to browse materials by category.
Add Materials to your scene
Drag and drop materials from the library onto your objects. You can also double click a material to apply it to a selected object.
Using the Basic Materials Category
Items in the "Basic Materials" category are designed to be easily customizable. They include common textures (like plastic, wood, marble, and metal) with white or neutral base colours for easy editing.
You can customize and save materials using the material editor.
You can also upload your own texture maps for a completely custom look.
