Learn steps and best practices for importing 3D models into BRIO.
BRIO allows you to build 3D scenes using your own models as well as a built-in library of additional objects. In this series of lessons, we’ll import a single model, edit it, and present in BRIO.
1. In the tools menu, click the upload button and select 3D model. Select the model from your file browser and click open.
BRIO is compatible with most common 3D file formats, including .GLTF .FBX, and .OBJ.
When you upload a model, you’ll see a screen reminding you to optimize your model for better performance. (BRIO is updated regularly, so your screen may look different than this, but the basic message is the same). You can find out more about optimizing models here.
2. Click START.
If you are uploading a large scale model, you’ll be prompted to scale it down before starting. Learn more about this step here.
