Learn to set camera limits to restrict the angles that are viewable in your published scene.
Setting camera limits can help you create a more controlled viewing experience in your final scene.
In the camera settings panel, turn on “Camera Limits”. A set of controls will appear.
Set Zoom limits
Zoom limits prevent viewers from moving too close or far from the objects in your scene.
Use the sliders to adjust the zoom limits. The low value on the slider represents the closest the camera can zoom to the target point. The higher value represents the farthest distance it can zoom out.
Check “free zoom” if you do not want to set zoom limits.
Set Rotation Limits
Rotation limits control the angles from which the camera can view your scene.
Set the second value on the vertical rotation slider to 90. This will allow your camera to view your scene from as low as floor level.
The camera is always angled toward the bottom of the target flag, which is situated at the at the 90 degree point (floor level). This means that if you set a vertical rotation limit of 90 degrees, the camera will not be able to move below floor level.
Horizontal limits will restrict how far the camera can pan left or right. This is useful when you want to present your scene from certain angles or, as mentioned in the previous lesson, if you want to hide part of your background image.
For this lesson, turn on “free horizontal rotation”
