Lightmap Modifiers allow you to add and adjust baked lightmaps.
To access Lightmap Modifiers:
Select your object > open the material panel > select “ADVANCED OPTIONS”
Currently, BRIO requires you to upload lightmaps to each channel manually.
To do this, select the upload button next to the shader you wish to edit, and select the lightmap from your image library. Use the slider to adjust the strength or intensity of each effect.
Lightmap modifiers
Emission colour: this controls the colour of light emitted by the material when the emissive intensity level is set above 0.
Emissive Intensity: Controls colour and intensity of light emitted from a surface. Emissive materials have the appearance of being light sources themselves, and are usually used on objects that have a part that is meant to be lit from the inside, like a monitor or a glowing button.
AO (Ambient occlusion): (AO) refers to the amount of ambient lighting (lighting not coming from a specific direction) can hit a point on a surface. This setting darkens creases, holes and surfaces that are close together - areas that occlude, or block out, ambient light.
Direct Light : The effects of of baked direct lighting, such as colour changes and shadows. Upload your lightmap to the Direct light shader and use the slider to adjust the strength of the baked lighting effect.
Indirect Light: The effects of baked indirect lighting (ie. reflected light). Upload your lightmap to this shader and use the slider to adjust the strength of the indirect lighting effects, such as colour changes, shadows, and reflections.
