The material shaders allow you to edit the surface finish of your material
Colour
The flat colour for a Material and tint for any image assigned in the Diffuse channel. You may edit this value using the HEX code
Diffuse
Allows an image texture to be uploaded to define the colour for a material.
Normal
A texture that fakes the appearance of bumps and dents without adding more polygons to the model. Adjusting the slider will change the intensity of the lighting appearance. Custom normal maps can be uploaded using the button to the left of the slider.
Roughness
Defines how glossy/rough the surface is. A linear space greyscale texture or solid greyscale colour.
Metalness
A greyscale texture or solid greyscale colour that gives materials a metallic appearance. Non-metal physical materials have a metalness value of 0, raw metals have a value of 1, and values in between are used for impure metallic materials ie. corroded metal.
Double-sided
Double-sided materials are visible from both sides of a polygon.
